The villa is located in the quiet medieval village of Castello di Valsolda and spreads over 500m2 in a versatile layout. The 4 storey house caters for a maximum of 10 guests and offers 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, 2 kitchens, a library, 3 living rooms and several outdoor areas. South-facing with breathtaking views over lake Lugano, the villa can be reached via a short walk up from the public car park situated at the entrance of the village.

The ground floor of the house is the main living area with a modern and fully-equipped kitchen, a relaxing living room with fireplace, a well-stocked library, a bathroom and 3 balconies over lake lugano. An inner courtyard is also located on this floor providing a shady hideout on warm summer days.

The first floor is the main sleeping area of Villa Castello. It offers two double bedrooms with magnificent views of Lake Lugano, one bathroom and a cosy cinema room.

The Taverna is situated on the medium floor of the house and provides a large double bedroom, a living room with an additional sleeping sofa as well as a spacious bathroom. All rooms have gorgeous views on lake Lugano.

The lower floor of the house consists of a fully-equipped kitchen, a double bedroom, a bathroom as well as a large and lush terrace.

The studio is a little dependance with an en-suite double bedroom reached over the inner courtyard.

Villa Castello has been continuously renovated since 2022 for the comfort of our guests. Upcycling and the use of high quality and environment-friendly material are guiding principles in our renovation efforts.
